Dash A1 and Dash S1 Audio Glasses

No app needed. These pair like any Bluetooth headphone.

Step 1: Find your touch panel

The touch panel sits on the outer side of each temple, near the hinge. It looks different depending on which batch your pair came from, and both are correct:

• On some pairs you will see a small red dash.
• On others the marking is the same colour as the temple. Run a fingertip along that spot and you will feel a raised embossed line. That is the panel.

Step 2: Power on. Both sides, separately

Each temple powers on independently. There is a speaker and a battery in each side, so switching on one side does not switch on the other. Do this twice, once per side.

• Tap and hold the touch panel for 5 seconds. You will hear a beep.
• Repeat on the other temple.

Some batches speak instead of beeping and say "Power On", then "Connected" about a second later. Most simply beep. Both are correct, and neither means anything is wrong with your pair.

Not sure whether a side came on? Wear the glasses and tap that touch panel once. If you hear a soft tap sound in that ear, that side is on. If you hear nothing, that side is still off, so tap and hold it for 5 seconds.

Step 3: Pair with your phone

• Open Bluetooth settings on your phone.
• Tap Dash Glasses in the list.
• You will hear a confirmation, either a beep or the word "Connected" depending on your batch. Play any song to be sure.

Step 4: Controls

Gesture	What it does
Tap once	Play or pause music. Answer an incoming call.
Double tap	Next song on the right side. Previous song on the left side.
Tap and hold 2 seconds	Wake your phone assistant, Google Gemini or Apple Siri. Reject an incoming call.
Tap and hold 5 seconds	Power on or off.
Tap while the camera app is open	Trigger a photo or video remotely.

Step 1: Install the app first

Everything else is easier once the app is on your phone, because the app shows each control with graphics and walks you through pairing.

• Take out the guidebook from inside your Dash Echo box.
• Scan the app QR code printed in it. It sends you to the right store automatically, App Store on iPhone and Play Store on Android.
• Install the app, open it, and follow the steps it shows you to connect.

Step 2: Know your three controls

Wearing the glasses, there are three places you touch:

• Right button, on the top of the right side.
• Left button, on the top of the left side.
• Touch panel and volume slider, on the outer side of the right temple. It is one surface that does both.

Step 3: Switch on

Press and hold the right button for 5 seconds to switch on. Press and hold it for 5 seconds again to switch off.

Step 4: Controls

Control	What it does
Right button, single tap	Take a photo.
Right button, double tap	Start recording a video.
Left button, single tap	Start a conversation with your AI assistant. You can also just say Hey Echo.
Slide along the touch panel	Volume up and down.
Touch panel, double tap	Play or pause music.
Touch panel, triple tap	Previous song.
Touch panel, tap and hold	Next song.
Either button while a call is ringing	Answer the call. Press again to end it.

Dash Air Frameless Smart Glasses

No app needed. Dash Air works exactly like our audio glasses, with one difference in where you tap and one extra control.

Step 1: Find your touch panels

On Dash Air the panels are not on the outer sides. They are on the front bottom edge of each temple, left and right.

Run a fingertip along that bottom edge and you will feel a small raised dot. That dot marks the panel, so it tells you your finger is in the right place without looking.

Step 2: Power on

• Tap and hold the touch panel for 5 seconds.
• You will hear "Power On", then after about a second "Connected", which means both sides have synced.

Step 3: Pair with your phone

• Open Bluetooth settings on your phone.
• Tap Dash Glasses in the list.
• You will hear "Connected" again, confirming the phone.

Step 4: Controls

Gesture	What it does
Slide along the right temple	Volume up and down. This slider is on the outer side of the right temple and is extra on Dash Air.
Tap once	Play or pause music. Answer an incoming call.
Double tap	Next song on the right side. Previous song on the left side.
Tap and hold 2 seconds	Wake your phone assistant, Google Gemini or Apple Siri. Reject an incoming call.
Tap and hold 5 seconds	Power on or off.
Tap while the camera app is open	Trigger a photo or video remotely.
